Viva Piñata accessory pack one released

360 News | The one can only mean one thing.
Viva Piñata may not actually be out yet, but this hasn't stopped Microsoft from releasing some premium content for the game. The Viva Piñata Accessory Pack 1 is available for 90 points and contains a Vela Wig and a Juno Helmet. After the accessories are purchased they can be obtained from Paper Pets in the village.

We have to admit that the sheer number of premium content flooding onto the marketplace is a bit of a concern; these two products easily could have been available as an added bonus to those who purchase the game. If you're against microtransactions then Peter Moore suggests you vote with the A button - we couldn't agree more.

This is where microtransactions are ridiculous - I don't necessarily mind paying extra for good content that couldn't be put in the game (though, mind you, they companies should delay a game if more stuff is needed), but having stuff available already is just ridiculous.

^ Yeah this is what annoys me, there just keeping content out of games to sell them later, Or in this case ealier..
They sure now how to make money and piss of consumers.

Yeah, but then again they never tried to hide the 'cash-cow' nature of Viva Pinata. It was done from the ground up to tie into the cartoonn and have copious amounts of DLC. Sort of like Microsoft's own Pokemon franchise - gotta buy it all!

Although this pack sounds cool, where's the Lupus love? Judging from the character designs from the game he'd be better suited. At any rate I refuse to buy such needless packs, especially at this price, £7.50 for 10 additional items to dress up your Pinatas (if this is the standard price)! 20 items for £7.50 would sound more reasonable, and be good value for money - if this is the sort of content they plan to release. I can just see Banjo's pants, Mumbo Jumbo's mask, Bottles glasses, Conker's tail, etc. Cashing in on Rare's slew of endearing characters.

If the price didn't seem so steep, I'd deffinitely jump on board; for a Mr. Pants bowler hat, and pants. icon_lol.gif So I can deffinitely see the appeal, and those more free with their money, say younger children for example - which the game is aimed at, might buy them at this price.

I think those that are really into it and got the money to blow will invest. Who knows if Viva Pinata will be the craze they're hoping it to be?

Let them release this 'premium' content - I sure as hell won't be making a purchase.
