However, if you'd rather, EA has released a few other packs. There is the Drivetrain bundle, which gives you immediate access to all Street and Pro Packages for Engine and Transmission upgrades in the game. There is also a Performance Engine bundle which includes all the Street, Pro and Race packages for nitrous and turbo upgrades. There is also a Performance Handling package which immediately gives you access to all of the Street and Pro packages for Suspension parts, Brakes, and Tires in the game. All of these packages are available for 400 points each.

If you just can't decide, there is a ultimate performance bundle, which immediately unlocks every performance package in the game. Every package in the Drivetrain, Booster, and Handling Bundle is yours for the taking, this package will set you back 800 points. There are also muscle car autosclupt kits, autosculpt tuner body kits and autosculpt exotic body kits which are 300 points.

Finally, there are also three new vehicles to download. The 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago and 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 are all downloadable for 80 points each. Most of this content can be unlocked in game. Look out for PALGN's review of Need for Speed: Carbon in the coming weeks.

I was reading earlier tonight that to buy all of this premium content would cost US$50, the cost of the game again that you'd just bought. What makes it worse is it's content that's already on the disc.

Even the Collectors Edition stuff? I mean if you didn't buy the Collectors Edition would you have access to this content?

Everyone has access to this stuff, cept the collector's edition pack.

It only costs $50 if you buy EVERYTHING, but some of them cover for each of them, so you wouldnt need to buy the ultimate pack and then the individual packs.
