New weapons in the game will include a spiker, a new brute weapon. A Spartan laser; which tears vehicles apart and a nail grenade that sticks onto walls and explodes, shooting nails everywhere. The ATV that was cut from Halo 2 will make an appearance, it will seat two people but won't have any weapons. The game will also contain a man cannon, which will shoot your character up into the air, ala Unreal Tournament.
In addition, 1Up has revealed that you'll also be able to save your own replays from single player and multiplayer. Finally, the article also reveals that Bungie are going to be releasing three different editions of Halo 3; a standard edition, collector's edition and a monster legendary edition. The legendary edition will include four disks: the first disk will contain the game, the second disk will contain documentaries and developer commentary, the third disk will include spin-off material (red vs. blue etc.) and the forth disk will have all the cut scenes from Halo 1-3 in high definition.
It seems the barrage of information on Halo 3 is set to begin, conveniently enough only a few weeks before the PlayStation 3 and the Wii launch, we'll report back as soon as we hear anything else on Halo 3
