150,000 downloads of the GRAW map pack

360 News | Unsurprisingly, a sequel is on the way too.
Ubisoft has sent through their revenue for the first semester (which ended on September the 30th, 2006). Sales for the first semester 2006-07 were €172M, up 13% (+14% at constant exchange rate) compared to €153M in the first semester 2005-06. Sales for the second quarter 2006-07 amounted to €102M, down 7% (-4% at constant exchange rate) compared to €110M in the second quarter 2005-06.

Hidden within the financial statements was the company's Online activities, which had received a revenue of €3M, exceeding forecasts by €1.7M. The €3M in sales on the Xbox Live Marketplace was thanks mainly to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, which sold 150,000 downloads for the game's additional map pack.

The financial statements also revealed that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 will be on it’s way in the fiscal fourth quarter. As a result Assassin’s Creed and Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway are now set for release in fiscal year 2007-08. Ubisoft are also aiming to have 14 Wii titles available by the end of March, 2007.

Whilst it is a tough time for some publishers in the industry, it seems like Ubisoft is going from strength to strength.
