Just Cause sequel on its way

360 News | Confirmed for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
According to Pro-G, the Swedish publication Kong has confirmed that a sequel to Just Cause is currently underway at Avalanche Studios. The publication spoke to the developer who confirmed that the game will be returning.

Apparently the game will be coming to the Xbox 360, PC and for the first time on the PlayStation 3. There were no more details on the sequel provided, it's also likely we'll be waiting until next year for any more information but as soon as we get any, we'll report back.

Great news, I don't think there's anyone here who enjoyed Just Cause as much as I did but I thought it was great. It had its faults but it was great fun if you used your imagination and it looked absolutly beautiful in HD. Can't wait to see what this one looks like considering it won't have PS2/Xbox versions holding it back.

Wicked, this is the only game that has made me think of getting a 360.I have the PS2 version and would have loved to play it with graphics like the 360 provides.

Yeah i saw the first Just cause in a mates Playstation mag and i was like,"WTF?!?" It looks just as good as it does on the 360.(maybe they ripped the pics from the 360 and plunked them in the Playstation mag, probably)

But it is great to hear that it is for 360,PS3 and PC respectively meaning it should look great.
Cross platform games for me is an immediate pass unless it is something real special.Very rare though.

Awesome news! JC was a top game (a little VERY bad with the cutscenes), the gameplay was some of the most fun I've had in ages. I have to say that GTA is still my fav though.

Well I wouldn't of figured they sold enough to make a sequel, but there you go.
