New Turok images shoot into view

360 News | Dinosaurs a plenty.

Buena Vista games has sent through some of the latest images of Turok which is coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC in 2007.

The game will place players in the role of Joseph, a member of the commando black ops who has been sent to a mysterious planet, with the objective of capturing the most wanted war criminal of the galaxy. Whilst we must admit that we're a little bit skeptical about another Turok game we're willing to give this game the benefit of the doubt until we've played it. We'll have more information on the new Turok game as soon as it becomes available.

Well the dinosaurs sure look cartoony but at least the game finally seems to have the focus on dino hunting.

I've always sort of enjoyed Turok. I always felt the franchise had great promise but in every iteration was tempered by significant flaws. Hopefully Turok isn't destined to mediocrity forever.

Turok 2 on the N64 was very, very hard!! I actually prefer the first game than its sequel. The third is better than the second but graphically I think it was pretty poor even with the expansion pack.

I loved Turok 1 and 2 was good too but just wasn't the sleeper like part 1 was. Evolution was crap crap crap!!!! I've always had a soft spot for Turok because of the setting.....dinosaurs are awesome and prehistoric worlds are even better! Also part 1 introduced moving parts in guns...and it was the first time I was able to use a nuke in a FPS! I really hope this game turns out good.
