Tony Hawk's Project 8 demo coming soon

360 News | Though hopefully before the game's out.

The official website for Tony Hawk's Project 8 has a statement on their claiming that anyone wanting to play the game should "check out the playable demo on the XBox Live marketplace," the only problem being that the demo currently isn't available on the marketplace.

According to Eurogamer, Activision has confirmed that the demo will be available "soon", which provides as much detail as us saying "possibly before christmas." We would expect the demo to become available Wednesday considering that is becoming the standard for Xbox 360 demos, despite the fact we actually don't know it's fair to assume it will be pretty soon because the game isn't that far off release.

Tony Hawk's Project 8 is a complete reinvention for the Tony Hawk franchise. The game has been built from the ground up for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A new physics engine is planned as well as a new, more open world. We actually previewed Tony Hawk's Project 8 a few months ago, so why not have a read whilst you're waiting?

YES! I can't wait for this one. Actually its my most anticipated game of this year ( on 360 ).

Same, though in terms of anticipation it sits just behind Mass Effect (or Stranglehold or whichever is coming out this year).

My brother may get it and I'll try it out then, I dont have a 360 or PS3, Im getting a Wii at launch and am looking forward to Downhill Jam

Cool - i'd love a go on this, really looking forward to seeing if the game will be my first Tony Hawk title in a few years (i enjoyed them all until THUG). It's not out till 24th Nov here, so there's a fair bit of time between now and then for the demo to comeout. But the sooner the better obviously!

And Spence, i couldn't get in that link either

Looking at the URL, i think it's under a staff-only part of the site or something...
