Forza Motorsport 2 screenshots emerge

360 News | Finally some more screenshots are revealed.
Microsoft has finally released new images of Forza Motorsport 2. The images come as a bit of a relief, because we haven't heard much at all about Forza Motorsport 2 since its announcement back at E3 in May.

The new images look remarkably sharp and have been released only weeks before the Tokyo Game Show, where Sony is set to show off Gran Turismo HD. The final game will include more than 300 vehicles on over sixty tracks, as well as comprehensive online play and a whole new damage system. Hopefully, some more information emerges on Forza Motorsport 2 in the next few weeks; if it does, then we'll report back. For now you can check out the images in the media panel.

They all look very pretty, especially the pic of the concrete barriers, its awesome!

It all comes down to the Physics and handling for me though, so I hope they have improved it from Forza 1. Oh and a good online interface that makes it easy to join or start the sort of races that your interested in.

Now that is more like it. The graphics were a bit of a hit and miss for me in the original Forza. They were great generally, but there were some issues that I had with it too. Nice to see Forza 2 going in the right direction. icon_smile.gif

As for the article's quote or whatever they call it, what's this about 'more screenshots'? These are the first in-game shots to be released as far as I know, all previous shots have been from the CGI trailers.

Wasn't really GCI wasn't it, all the grahpic were the same. (As far as I can tell anyways, which is good)

sounded quite odd when i first read it icon_razz.gif 'especially the concrete barriers'? icon_razz.gif but after seeing the shots, i agree, the concrete barrier does look pretty sweet icon_razz.gif as do the rest of the shots, o course.

^ Just a touch of sarcasm icon_smile.gif . The other pics do look good but the one that has three concrete blocks and no cars in shot? WTF

Hmm. Maybe they are showing off the all new concrete blocks, instead of the cars or maybe some important stuff. But maybe they play an important part in the game. Lol. Have to wait and see

Ironically the concrete barriers seem to be the worst models on offer in the screenshots as well.

I actually thing the purpose of the shot was to show off the background detail, the trees on the hill and the houses to the left. If not to show off background detail then to provide a sort of 'spectator view' of the actual corner. Or maybe not.

La, all previous shots for the game were taken from the two or three CGI trailers. With the exception of one of the Ferrari shots.
