Battlefield: Bad Company set for next generation consoles

360 News | In comparison to good company, which wouldn't be nearly so enjoyable.
US magazine GameInformer, has revealed the first details on the next Battlefield game, Battlefield: Bad Company, which is set for release on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 next year, although no mention was made of a Wii version.

Not much information was actually revealed about the game unfortunately, but GameInformer claim that the title will have the "best single player experience ever in a Battlefield game". We'll wait until the game's release before throwing hyperbole about, but we're certainly hoping the single player is a bit more comprehensive this time around.

With the Liepzig game convention on this week we're hoping some information comes through about the multiplayer, and if it does then we'll report back.

If that isn't a photo in the media panel, I daresay I'm very impressed with the promise shown by the graphics.

^ There's no way the in-game graphics will look like that though.

Although the pic is quite impressive you can still tell its not a photo. The graphics on some of these games are getting very relistic but unfortunatly its the animation that seems to let them down.

I know, though by this point I'd have thought that Rendering CG would be superfluous.

Quoted for truth. Although, even if it did look that good, it doesn't really matter, seeing as shots like that, during actual playtime would never occur, so the really minute details in the characters won't show themselves save for in screenshots. Which is always the case. It reminds me of UT2007, yes the character models are absolutely amazing, but when I see the game in action I don't notice any of the amazing features the screenshots give off.
