Next NBA Street game announced

360 News | On Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 only.
EA has confirmed today that NBA Street is heading to the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in Quarter 2, 2007. The surprising news is that the game will only be available on these platforms, so those Street fans hoping for a current generation sequel are going to be left disappointed.

Not many details about the game have been revealed, though apparently the game will create a "hyper-real world," which we is how you say "detailed world" in marketing-speak. The idea of the game will be to put your hometown on the map, so it seems as if the game has drawn some inspiration from the Tony Hawk series.

Unfortunately that's all the information that's been revealed so far - we've no name or screenshots to accompany the news, but as soon as anything is revealed we'll report back.

Considering the previous NBA Street games are excellent - V2 and V3 in particular, I'm looking forward to the next few. Great Multiplayer fun.

Yes. Is a great franchise and has always been fun. Pity they arnt going to try and release it on wii. That would be an interesting combo. Maybe use the remote to make a shooting action?

Oh Well, Nintendo have their own NBA Courtside franchise which im sure they'll bring to the Wii, I dislike EA Games anyway I don't like their quality of games

NBA Courtside is hardly the Pro Evolution Soccer of basketball. It's obvious you don't know what you're talking about.

I don't know about you guys, but I have enjoyed the majority of sports game on consoles other than nintendo. I think I would go with the xbox 360 when purchasing this.

You honestly think there's a market for sports games on Nintendo consoles?

Fanboy and anti fanboyism is slowly picking up..

V-3 is a sweet game, shame its PS3 and 360 only, not sure I can justify the price of either. But online is essential, especially for those of us who are only children.
