On the Gears of War forums Rein stated that he doesn't "see any way we (Epic) could do a demo before the game comes out. We've said that before. Demos take a long time to create and polish and we can't afford to get derailled like that if we want to have the game in stores".
Mark also added that he has some cool plans for future downloadables but didn't reveal any more information on this front. This is certainly disappointing news for anyone expecting a Gears of War demo prior to release, maybe if the Wii launches earlier we'll see a change of heart?
