The first names of the cast and crew who will work on GTA: San Andreas successor Grand Theft Auto IV have appeared in an IMDB listing. Not unexpectedly, the principle writers are set to be Rockstar President Dan Houser and James Worrall (both of whom wrote for San Andreas and Manhunt). There's also every chance that Houser will appear as voice talent in the game, having acted in both Grand Theft Auto III and sequel Vice City respectively.
Elsewhere, Lazlow Jones (who wrote for GTA III and Vice City and acted in Liberty City Stories and San Andreas) is set to make a return, as is writer Navid Khonsari, who has voice credits on all the GTA games, as well as Manhunt.
Admittedly, it's not exactly an avalanche of details, but when the game concerned is the follow-up to what was surely the most popular video game of recent years, we feel obliged to report it. The title is set to appear in October 2007 on Sony's PlayStation 3 and, in something of a coup for Microsoft, the Xbox 360. More as we get it.
