Frame City Killer was the first title by a Japanese developer to optimise the Unreal Engine 3 technology, and was planned to be Namco’s first title for the console. The game was set in a futuristic metropolis in East Asia, where gamers assumed the role of Crow, an assassin sent into the city to identify a mysterious terrorist group.
Namco didn’t disclose any reasons behind the cancellation, but one can only expect that the title had always had trouble to begin with after suffering from several delays prior to this announcement. Namco have apologised for the cancellation and has assured to Xbox 360 fans that the company is currently working on an RPG title for the console, however the company was careful to keep tightlipped on the announcement.
