E3 2006: Alan Wake is made exclusive

360 News | Microsoft is publishing.
While the status of Alan Wake and whether or not it will make an appearance at this year's show is still unknown, Microsoft has put to rest some of the floating rumours regarding exclusivityby announcing that that it will be exclusively publishing the game for the Xbox 360 and Windows Vista.

Developed by Remedy of Max Payne fame, Alan Wake places the player in the role of the best-selling suspense author of the same name. Wake finds himself in a small town where he's trying to solve the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée, and it's all rather good-looking, as the screens in the Media Panel demonstrate.

Please stay tuned to PALGN for more coverage on this, and maybe even a hands-on.

I really want this game, it sounds awesome. I was scared for a second thinking Microsoft would pull a Halo on us and strip it from PC, but thankfully that hasn't happened.

Anyone care to explain how does this game play? I didn't follow the news of Alan Wake last E3
