The game will include 100 of the world's favourite football players all accurately rendered. There will be a total of 127 national teams to choose from and it's also going to be possible to play matches in the twelve stadiums where the tournament is being held.
The game will include a Global Challenge mode which recreates classic moments from previous World Cups, as well as a multiplayer mode for up to eight players. Apparantly there will also be lots of unlockable content in the game as well.
EA have also included the first three screenshots, which we've included in the media panel for your perusal. The game is currently set for release on (deep breath) PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360, Gamecube, Nintendo DS, GBA, mobile phones and if we're lucky maybe even the Dreamcast. FIFA fans really are spoilt for choice this year, with FIFA Street 2 coming out this week, followed by 2006 FIFA World Cup in April and the inevitable FIFA 2007 at the end of the year.
