Xbox 360 questions answered

360 News | Annoyed about the launch delay? Query the source.
In response to the negative feedback resulting from the 3 week delay of the Xbox 360 launch in Australia (now March 23rd), as a show of good faith Microsoft have created an email address you can use to send your queries directly to David McLean. McLean is the regional director of Microsoft’s home entertainment division, which means he is ultimately the person who makes the decisions on release dates here in Australian and New Zealand.

The email address you should direct your quires too is: askdavid@xbox.com.au.

They will be accepting queries until 5pm Wednesday, February 1st. A summary of responses will be posted on Friday, February 3. We will publish them on PALGN as soon as they are available.

Well what a relief. I'll send him an e-mail describing my distaste with the delay and maybe he'll push it back forward to Mar 2nd?

What a load of crap..

Time to vent some anger.

While at the offices yesterday of course we asked about the release push back and the guy said its just to make sure everyone gets a 360. There probably is enough just for VIP owners but its not really fair on the others who preordered.

Plus the date the 23rd is just to make sure. It wont be any more after that and it may get get put back a week or something depending if they get them all ready icon_smile.gif

BTW Your anger wont help.

God I'm sick of all these people thinking they're special for buying VIP packs. You're kidding yourself if you think you're special. It's just an opportunity for Microsoft to sell you product months in advance of it actually being useful to you.

What you think I don't know that? This VIP Card doesn't mean ****!!

As if they walk around thinking they're special 'cause they got a VIP pack. It's just the point that we bought it thinking we'd be getting this console on the 2nd.

The VIP pack is worth the chance to win a trip to E3 and for the home threater systems, not to mention value of the game wireless controller ($20 saving + bad looking faceplate). I went over and had a glance over Xbox forums, most of the posters seem to be in 12-16 year old age range and the whinging they do is amazing, I'm glad I don't go there icon_lol.gif

What's the point? Microsoft need to supply systems to markets it deems more important. It's as simple as that. Waiting for some guy to spout out company diction under a veil of making customers feel special isn't going to change anything.
