Top Spin 2 is the successor to the original Top Spin title which was released first on the Xbox and a couple of years later on the PS2. For the sequel, not only has the game acquired a new developer, but there have been plenty of improvements in the game itself.
Now you can take on, play as, or team up with 24 of the world's top ranked professionals, featuring tennis stars including Andy Roddick, Roger Federer, Lleyton Hewitt, Venus Williams, Lindsay Davenport and Maria Sharapova. The player creator is also reborn with a new Digital Identity, which helps create realistic player models where you can customize them with details such as hairstyles, shirts, shorts, shoes, etc. Couple that with the ability to taunt your opponents with different attitudes, you are truly able to create a player with their own unique style.
2K Sports also assured beefier game play with more events and tournaments to enter over the course of multiple seasons, as well as new risk shots and advanced controls giving you a more engrossing tennis experience than ever before.
Top Spin 2 currently has no solid release date, but is definitely expected to hit PAL shores this year.
