Final Project Gotham Racing 3 images unveiled

360 News | Not long to go.
Microsoft have revealed some of the last images of Project Gotham Racing 3, before it launches in America at the end of this month, and in the UK early December.

These images look the best out of the ones we've seen so far, but we cannot help but feel that these aren't necessarily a proper representation of the final game's quality.

Project Gotham Racing 3 is set to be one of the biggest launch games for the Xbox 360. Check back nearer to the launch for PALGN's official verdict.

i just hate em icon_wink.gif

does anyone get the feeling that the real thing wont look as good. Remember all the hype about Halo2 screenshots? When it was released it was a bit of a let down, coz the images were done in a higher res or something?

A possibility is that my tv is crap and isn't producing as crisp an image as good as the super displays being used by game developers??

Who cares, it's gonna look good enough regardless. I was playing something the other day (don't remember what) and was sitting there staring at the screen, amazed at what we have these days as opposed to the old 8 bit days and even before those... the next gen will continue to look amazing.

Im sure if we could all afford 80cm+ sets with 720p/1080i/1080p running through component or hdmi inputs, we culd get it looking swish as well.

But for now the 8 yr old Akai will have to do lol.

Jibbs, your post confused me. I don't have a fancy TV, but the graphics of this current gen are still amazing to me.

^ you definitely haven't play any games on this gen using component cables or play in High Def TV.

Well, I havn't either, but I just bought some component cable for my DVD player, & I'll never go back now.

Oh I have, but I don't own a setup like that... a friend does though.

No doubt.

Has anyone else wondered what these games will look like on a normal 4:3 TV, as opposed to 16:9? These shots look nice at that resolution and aspec ration, but what'll happen when you run it on composite cables on a standard tv?
