X05: Perfect Dark Zero Image

360 News | The first official in-game image, and things are looking very tidy.
When Perfect Dark Zero was announced before E3 this year, Microsoft released a batch of images that left people, uhm, sceptical at best. Since then, a few more shots images have filtered through, but none of them have left many people frothing quite as much as we expected.

Thank heavens then for X05, where Microsoft has unveiled the first in-game image of Perfect Dark Zero. And to say the game has come far since the first announcement is an understatement. We've included the image in the Media Panel, and left it in the full high resolution glory we knew you'd want it in. Just take a look at those fingernails eh? We'll have a preview of Perfect Dark Zero shortly, so keep checking back for more updates.

It would be good to some of the original weapons in it also, which had a nice mix of weapons.
The Superdragon and Laptop guns, as well as the famous RCP-90 (back to 90) make extremely welcome comebacks.

Also that Joanna Dark interview makes me sad, in the pants. It's all well and good for them to portray someone like Lara Croft like that, but in PD1, she had an air of dignity around her, as though they were going out of their way not to objectify her. So much for that.

While this is giving the blame to someone based on an assumption, I think the difference of portrayal between the two games can be based on Microsoft's influence. I'm not attacking Microsoft there, but I believe their influence meant that Joanna had to be changed to cater for the current mainstream community that is around currently. Unfortunately it wrecks it for the rest of us whom appreciated Joanna for who she was, not how she looks but alas, such is the times and their changes. Either way we can only complain. My only hope now is that the game is still actually good to play despite the major differences between her appearance.

She's been turned into an "Alias" style agent now...

At least the interview is funny. icon_lol.gif

That interview was probably written by some 40 something year old balding fat guy named Bob. And Bob's got a sense of humor. That's all that matters in end... i guess.
