Microsoft's pre-TGS 2005 press conference is over, and now we're getting the first glimpses of some of the Xbox 360's games running on finalised hardware. Once such game, Capcom's mass zombie killing sim, Dead Rising, was a favourite amongst some of the PALGN staff back at E3 in May.
In development under the supervision of legendary Mega Man director Kenji Inafune, Dead Rising puts you in the role of a freelance photographer during a zombie infestation. The player gets trapped in a mall, and must escape while fighting for dear life, as well as a Pulitzer Prize. With over 1000 zombies on screen, all sorts of crazy moves that you'd expect to see in a WWE show combined with a variety of silly weapons like lawnmowers and bowling balls, Dead Rising should prove to be interesting upon its release alongside the Xbox 360 in December.
