Too Human Images

360 News | Looking very human.
Silicon Knights have launched their Too Human website today, and whilst that is not necessarily anything to get too excited about, they have included some of the first screenshots of Too Human.

After facing a long and rather eventful development period during which the game has been destined for numerous different platforms, Too Human will be a trilogy on the Xbox 360. For now, obviously. Silicon Knights has been very secretive about the title, and whilst it is still a long way off, we can't help but anticipate the title greatly.

All seven images of the game can be found in the media panel. Too Human is set for release at the end of 2006 exclusively for the Xbox 360. As soon as more becomes available we'll be sure to report back.

Looks great,
Look kind of like Fire Warrior though...

Seems now two of Nintendo's major former 2nd party developers have jumped ship (Factor 5 unveiled some footage of a dragon game for the PS3 which was comprised of in-game footage, and looked very nice).

More evidence that it was in fact Nintendo, that put the bullet in its foot.

SK bailed out quite a while ago though, right after they finished Twin Snakes.

I found this site: http://toohuman.net They seem to have lots of info about the game, and have a lot of news that I haven't seen on the big sites. One of my bookmarks now. Just thought I'd share! icon_smile.gif

SK haven't abandoned Nintendo yet. They said so themselves, they just don't agree with ninty's stance on the next gen , so we'll see more of SK's stuff on the other platforms.

Silicon Knight are an A grade Company, it looks like they're keeping those standards high with this project.

Futuristic images. I like the screenshots but somehow the Killzone PS3 feel creeps up on me.

It'll get delayed again, and be re-announced for Playstation 5. In the meantime, SK will be doing a remake of Devil May Cry 1 for Xbox 360, and a game called 'For Ever Again:Dreams: The Phintachan Mystery of Doom' that will be great but no-one will buy it.

Ho Ho Ho!

Just wondering since SK was a Nintendo 2nd Party and didn't they have stocks in SK what happened to that since they I didn't think they announced selling any of it.

Other than that it is good to see Too Human finally.

Probably because they found out how underpowered the Revolution would be and how they wouldn't be able to make the game they wanted....

In a recent interview with EGM, Miyamoto debunked the 'underpowered Revolution' myth, among other things. Here's that point:

EGM: Some people are saying Nintendo has given up trying to lead technologically and is focused on innovation.
SM: I don't think the Revolution's graphics will be inferior in any fashion to Xbox 360 or PS3. Even if you look at Zelda on GameCube--I don't think that looks inferior to what the competition is touting as "next generation" visuals. But we think there are more important things for now than making the system work with a high-definition television. The majority of people won't be playing our system with an HDTV, though with the Revolution, 480p resolution will be standard. We are not making light of graphics and technology--we are trying to make the best-balanced machine that will appeal to the most people.

Anyway - SK split two years ago - well before any info on any new consoles.

What? 480p is a High-Def signal. That's surprising news.

I have little worry about the graphical capabilities of the Revolution. If the graphics of the system can touch what the Gamecube did with RE4, I'll be more than content. And chances of that are pretty darn high.

I think Nintendo is being the most sensible of the 3 big players. Sony just seem to be milking the next generation to the point of overkill. And they almost admit it by saying that the PS3 is going to be expensive. Very expensive. On the other hand, the Revolution will provide next generation games without expecting you to sell your right kidney to afford it.

Liked SK's Eternal Darkness alot on the Gamecube.

Too Human hopefully has been fully fleshed out by now.

Should be good fun. Another good reason for a next gen console. icon_smile.gif

I liked Eternal Darkness also... but these Too Human shots, whilst looking somewhat pretty, they don't fill me with any sense of awe. The runes look like they're just taken from Eternal Darkness and it doesn't have a particularly cohesive style about it without the runes. Though I am curious as to what the game actually is about. The runes aren't from ED at all. These are actual Nordic runes that real people know how to read (and have translated). The ED ones were made up by SK.
