Pre E3 2005: Perfect Dark Zero Screenshots Unveiled

360 News | we have some images of Perfect Dark Zero that look much better.
A few days ago, PALGN revealed some of the first images for Perfect Dark Zero, surprisingly they were a little disappointing and made the game look more like a Xbox title than an Xbox 360 title.

We've managed to obtain the latest four screenshots of the game, and we're pleased to report that Perfect Dark Zero is looking a lot better than we had previously thought.

These images can be viewed in the media panel, PALGN will have more information on Perfect Dark Zero as soon as it becomes available.

You beat me to it.

These ones look much better. And I spose by the release date, the final version will look even more superior.

The hands are a little blocky don't you think? Either way though, a lot of faith has returned, despite it looking fairly average.

Yeah, it's an improvement, though every time I see an image of Joanna Dark she looks different (unless that isn't actually her). In any case, I wish they'd accentuate her breasts a little less - I remember reading they sized down her bust size in the N64 version because they didn't want sex appeal to be a selling point, rather give her a little dignity as a female. Seem to have thrown all that out the window, haven't they?

Around about the same time they released a game titled "Grabbed by the ghoulies"

Still doesn't look that good, AND looks like a different game (check out the original Joanna face). What's going on?

It's now like a tomb raider/PN03/lame hybrid character.

Yeah first thing I said to myself when I saw the video was, well she looks pathetic now!

I don't like her new look either. Wouldn't mind so much if it was a new game, but knowing that she's going to get called Joanna Dark is annoying. icon_neutral.gif

I want to see some clips of the game in action... need to see if it feels like Perfect Dark, or if it feels like Timesplitters. icon_razz.gif

Stop complaining and wait until you PLAY the game before passing judgement. icon_razz.gif Jeebus!

Anyway, these screens are way better than the first set, which I believe we from the xbox 1 version...
So much for "5000 polygons per chatacter" hey? icon_wink.gif
One thing I don't like are those jaggies. Ugh!

You don't know that for sure. It is Perfect Dark Zero remember, which means it is a prequel. If we were to play as Joanna in this prequel, then the only plot and objectives we could do is Joanna's training. DataDyne was her first real mission, don't forget that. Something tells me that we might actually play as Velvet Dark instead...

Ah yes, I suppose so. icon_smile.gif
Well that makes me feel a little better...

Quite odd when you think about that, though... Joanna was given the codename "Perfect Dark" only after ranking A++ in training simulations. If it's a prequel, this game may not actually feature any character who could be called "Perfect Dark" icon_lol.gif

Again if I recall correctly there were little tidbits of information (if you looked hard enough) about Velvet Dark and I believe she was considered to be the "Perfect Agent" until Joanna came along. It has been a while since I played through the single-player campaign (two months icon_lol_old.gif ) so perhaps it is time for another?

velvet dark.....sounds like one of those new 'porno' tim-tam flavours.

That was her sister. It was all in the computer systems if you explored CaraDyne HQ (or whatever it was called).

Velvet Dark, lol it does sound rather dodgy. But that was just adding to the lesbian vibe Joanna had.
