Developed especially for young kids by Land Ho!, the spin off will come packaged with 40 songs consisting of chart topping pop hits, popular songs from kids television shows and movies and mixes of classic kids songs in multiple languages.
Following on from the success of Dance Central, Just Dance Kids will take full advantage of Microsoft’s Kinect sensor in lieu of a controller while allowing users to create and save dance routines to challenge others. Similarly, with PlayStation Move, kids can capture their dance moves via the PlayStation Eye which is set to snap photos throughout the routine.
“Just Dance Kids provides kids from 4 to 8 years old with exciting new features on top of the elements that have made the Just Dance franchise a success,” said Geoffroy Sardin, EMEA VP Marketing and Sales at Ubisoft. “It’s a must have family title.”
Also in the works for the game is a brand new multiplayer mode for Wii owners titled ‘Balloon Pop’ as well as a Nonstop Shuffle feature that will allow gamers to play the title for designated 15, 30, 60 or 120 minute periods without having to push any buttons or navigate menus.
Just Dance Kids is currently set to hit store shelves on November 3, 2011.
