Deal of the Week:
There's only one main deal to snap up, and any snapping will depend on what sort of a relationship you had with L.A. Noire. It's an interesting title, more so because of its fascinating development cycle and Team Bondi's unfortunate implosion afterwards. For the coming week only, you can grab the 'Rockstar Pass' for L.A. Noire at the discounted price of 640 MSP (AU$10.50), a saving of 33%. Dust off that fedora.
Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.
There's also an additional sale, presumably open to both Gold and Silver members, which includes a bunch of extra Rockstar goodies. Check the dashboard for more details.
New Releases:
Radiant Silvergun is being launched tonight and will set you back 1200 MSP (AU$20). That's a strange figure seeing as it's a remake of the old Sega Saturn title, so you'd normally expect to see it going for a bit cheaper. But not on this occasion, so you'll be forking out a premium price for some retro shooting.
The only other new Arcade title is Red Bull X-Fighters, and it's set at a price of 800 MSP (AU$13). Made by the people from Konami, we only assume it's the video game version of the real world extreme sport. And if it's not, then expect to see a few lawyers getting involved.
Finally, you can download extra content for Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012, The Gunstringer along with the final expansion for Red Dead Redemption. If you're still not satisfied, then you might want to try out the FIFA 12 demo. See you next week... that is, if we can pull ourselves away from Gears 3.
