Deals of the Week:
The annual slashing of map packs for Call of Duty has arrived, with everything up until Modern Warfare 2 included. Also included are the Call of Duty 2 extras, because there's still such an enormous community supporting it... but we digress. If you're one of the seven people in the world who decided not to purchase Modern Warfare 2, you can do so through Games On Demand along with Call of Duty: Black Ops. Unfortunately, only the American website has been updated with new Games on Demand prices. Presumably Australia will be getting the same deals if Microsoft has any common sense, but therein lies the problem. Also, Black Ops doesn't appear to be available over here, so who knows what's happening. But the map pack prices are confirmed, so start downloading now.

New Releases:
And the games just keep on coming this week. Mortal Kombat Arcade Collection is being released for 800 MSP (AU$13) unless it gets banned like its big brother. That doesn't appear to be the case just yet, so you can get stuck into some brutal fatality action later tonight when it becomes available to purchase.
Next up is The Baconing for 1200 MSP (AU$20). For those who don't already know, it's a follow-up to the DeathSpank games from last year. Same lead character, same humour, different name. Considering how the response to previous installments was quite positive, this one might be worth a look.
To round things off, Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon is launching for 800 MSP (AU$13). It's a co-operative shooter with a slice of funny, but to be perfectly honest, it doesn't look terribly good. You could even say it looks... ugly. Apologies, we had to. Until next week, happy gaming!
