DoDonPachi Resurrection to receive a PAL release

360 News | Another taste of bullet hell. EDIT: Debut trailer
After the success of bringing DeathSmiles to the overseas market, publisher Rising Star Games has decided to follow suit with another of Cave's popular shmup games, DoDonPachi Resurrection.

As Siliconera reports, the package will include a high-def port of the arcade game and a couple of other arrange modes. One will allow players to use the TigerSchwert from Ketsui in battle, and the other will change the game depending on the player's skill set.

The Black Label and Version 1.51 modes often found in Cave's retail releases will not be present on the disc, but will be sold as downloadable content.

DoDonPachi Resurrection has been announced for release this November, so take the time to hone your reflexes until then. Also, enjoy the debut trailer below.

I was just going to ask for Akai Katana next as well, then I saw your post. I'll get an Xbox arcade hands down just for that!

Nice but isn't this game on the iOS device?

Indeed it is.

Maybe that's why they picked it...

It's not a bad game, but they had better options.

This is the greatest news in the history of news.

After Cave stopped releasing region-free titles, I was worried that Daifukkatsu would never come out in the West. Good to see that it will.

Now, if only they'd also release the updated DaiOuJou port so I don't keep having to dredge up my PS2 whenever I want to play it.
