Rumour: Alan Wake's next adventure to be XBLA title

360 Rumour | BYO torchlight.
A report from XBLAFans is sure to send Alan Wake fans into a tailspin with a rumour apparently outing details about the next title in the Alan Wake franchise. If the rumour proves to be true, Alan's next adventure will not be what gamers are expecting, with the game said to be a downloadable offering on Xbox Live Arcade.

The source behind the report surrounding the rumoured title, which is dubbed Alan Wake: Night Springs has apparently shared details and screenshots for the XBLA title, although this is all unconfirmed as the source has allegedly requested that the screens not be shared.

According to the site, this source is a credible informant, with the source last outing the recently announced Monolith downloadable title Gotham City Impostors several months ago.

Remedy is not commenting on the rumour at this time, though the developer's Head of Franchise Development, Oskari Hakkinen, recently revealed to Eurogamer that the next installment of Alan Wake would neither be a sequel or downloadable content for the original game.
