Remedy hiring for story driven Xbox 360 game

360 News | Well gee I wonder what this could be.
It's not often that we report when a studio sends out an advertisement for open job positions, but sometimes these positions can reveal a little more than expected, or at the very least offer some delicious speculation on what a studio might be brewing.

Today's job listing comes from Remedy, who many gamers will known from their most recent Xbox 360 exclusive Alan Wake. According to their job opening posted over at Gamasutra, Remedy are hard at work on a new high profile Xbox 360 title, described as having a "compelling narrative and intense action", with the position requiring skills in "drama and storytelling".

Rumours have been circulating for awhile now that Microsoft and Remedy have plans for an Alan Wake 2, further pushed by the developers themselves stating that Alan Wake was not a one-game story.

Could this be the beginning of Alan Wake 2? Maybe we'll find out at E3 2011.

Or they are starting Max Payne 3 from scratch again and want all new developers. Who knows!

I thought the game was widely regarded as a flop, so it would be a surprise if M$ green lighted a sequel.

I really enjoyed the game and would welcome a sequel though....

Alan Wake not being on PS3 is really sad for the industry!

It would have sold more copies on PS3 than 360.

360 more FPS orientated whilst PS3 fans would have supported the game more as shown by the success of Heavy Rain!

Alan Wake sales were underwhelming!

It must be made of some sort of fabric. Paper hats are cheating.

The more it stings the more delicious it tastes.
