Xbox Live Update - 01/02/2011

360 News | Plunging into the depths of the Marketplace.
Major Nelson has announced the weekly deals for Xbox Live, which will be available until 7 February. Returning to the familiar pattern seen in 2010, the bargains are related to a specific theme. This time around, it's all about water.

Deals of the Week:

Two out of the following three titles should spark some interest. They had high production values, were highly anticipated, and at least one of them was well received. The prices underneath are available right now, and should pop up when you look at the Marketplace.

  • Hydro Thunder Hurricane - 800 MSP (AU$13), a saving of 33%
  • Hydrophobia - 400 MSP (AU$6.50), a saving of 50%
  • Aqua Naval Warfare - 400 MSP (AU$6.50), a saving of 50%

This could get messy.

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.

New Release:

As per usual, a sole new Arcade title will be hitting the Marketplace tomorrow. For 1200 MSP (AU$20), players will be able to grab hold of Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2. Often regarded as one of the more challenging side-scrollers, this sequel aims to provide plenty of action, explosions and even more frustration. That always seems to be the case with Bionic Commando, intentional or otherwise. Until next week Xbox Live fans, bon voyage.
