Xbox Live Update - 25/01/2011

360 News | Get down, get down.
Let's prepare ourselves for another underwhelming week on Xbox Live. Major Nelson has announced the upcoming deals for dancing enthusiasts, while everyone else will have to wait seven days before some real bargains emerge.

Deals of the Week:

Arguably the most successful launch title for Kinect, Dance Central is what the Major has chosen so that Xbox 360 owners can get their groove on. All of the following new tracks are now available at these reduced prices:

  • Janet Jackson's "Control" - 160 MSP (AU$3), a saving of 33%
  • Sean Paul's "Temperature" - 160 MSP (AU$3), a saving of 33%
  • Ne-Yo's "Because of You" - 160 MSP (AU$3), a saving of 33%
  • Cameo's "Word Up" - 160 MSP (AU$3), a saving of 33%

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.

New Release:

We have to make a new shooter feel at home children, and it goes by the name of Breach. For 1200 MSP (AU$20), up to sixteen players can blast their way through all sorts of mayhem. Every environment will be supported by full destruction physics, although the chances of seeing anything on a par with Battlefield are slim. There will be four different game modes, five distinct classes and three maps at first. The developers at Atomic Games are promising an extra free map when the community reaches some sort of target. With a bit of luck, Australian gamers will be able to download Breach from the Marketplace tomorrow night.

Not sure if this is short-term or permenant, but I just noticed that both pieces of Mafia 2 DLC are now going for half-price (400 points).
