Animus Project 2.0 now available for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

360 News | Free stuffs!
The outstanding Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is still going strong on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. Multiplayer was an entirely new concept for the world that Ubisoft created, and now it has expanded thanks to the 'Animus Project 2.0', a completely free download.

A recent post over on Xbox360achievements.org has revealed the details of what exactly players can expect to find. Firstly, there's a brand new map called Pienza, based on Tuscany (an area found in Assassin's Creed II). The biggest addition by far is the 'Chest Capture' game mode. Don't start scratching your head with confusion, this is your standard attack and defend game type. Two teams of three will need to follow the compass to locate and loot hidden treasure chests, making sure to maintain a tactical approach to prevent getting stabbed in the back.

Last but definitely not least, Ubisoft is introducing a new feature called 'Templar Score'. Each week, players will be split into ten different categories, 'Templar Grades', depending on how successful they have been. Rewards will given out, possibly in the form of bonus upgrades or maybe even new character models. While you're downloading the new content, take a look at this trailer showcasing more of what you already love.

Ok that will do for multiplayer DLC. Hopefully we get some decent singleplayer DLC for once.
