Serious Sam 2 isn't available in our region. For some reason you can download the trial via the web marketplace, but you can't buy it =/

Unless you can do something like buy it from the web while using a US proxy or something like that.

What a gip, i want serious sam 2 for 600 points....i can't find out why this is the case though....my god why advertise it if you can't actually get it here....bizarre

Cause MS aren't big fans of Australia, hence why we don't get access to Indie Games, RockBandNetwork, and various other dealies on the XBLM.

That isn't really M$ messing with us though....XNA games would all have to be rated here, thats like 2 grand per game, who is going to foot that bill....so pretty sure they just went fuck it...and rbn is attached to xna, so it goes too.

The serious sam thing is just weird.

Yeah like fetid said the XNA thing is just a symptom of our incredibly broken ratings system.

Although that coupled with the kinect voice thing, and the serious sam thing and it's starting to look like they do hate us.

•Earthworm Jim HD - Was 800 Microsoft Points
Now 400 Microsoft Points

•Centipede & Millipede - Was 400 Microsoft Points Now 200 Microsoft Points

Assault Heroes - Was 400 Microsoft Points
Now 200 Microsoft Points.

They're both there at the moment. The ones in the article are last week's thanksgiving deals which are still up (not sure for how long), and those ones above are the week's deals, which are also up.

Had 460 thingomajigos sitting in my account, so I grabbed me some Megaman 10.

It's just weird because there's some unrated content on XBLM (mostly trailers, videos, etc...) but then some games and/or game content is disallowed here. Like we get the first episode of Serious Sam, but not the second.

My face hurts when I think of how long the push for an R18+ rating for has been going, and how we haven't gotten any closer to a resolution. That and region-locking digitally distributed content. Or maybe it's just the stress from everyone at work going on strike.

Meh.

Goddamn. I check this article every week, and the one week there's something I want, it's a week out of date.
