Already? It's only been out about a week!

I know everyone keeps telling me I should be upset and offended by DLC, but fuck it man I'm excited for it.

Benza you need to keep that to youreslf or you become part of problem.

I'm pretty interested too, it sounds great. I just wish I knew when they're planning to release it. The surprise addition of a 3D mode is awesome. icon_smile.gif

Or how about not? I'm fucking excited for the DLC and honestly I don't give two shits what people think about that.

And that is why companies will get more and more brazen with blatantly releasing DLC just a few weeks from release that should have been on the disc. Very Very Sad that the community as a whole is not standing up as one and saying this is not right. Even more so that people like yourself cannot even see what is happening.

No no I see exactly what is happening.

Here's the kicker I don't care

I was satisfied with the game I got when I bought enslaved, it had an engrossing story, great charecters and decent gameplay. I didn't come away from the game feeling dissapointed or ripped off.

So when I hear there is DLC comming out, I'm excited for it.

The game I played was worth what I spent on it, I don't expect anymore then what's on the disc for the price.

You wanna have a little bitch everytime you feel wronged by DLC? Cool go nuts, but don't expect everyone else to jump up and down with you.

With the increase in piracy, it's not surprising that developers are trying to make a bit more money. Look at how many jobs have been lost this year, if you're going to blame anyone, blame the pirates.

If you don't want the DLC then don't buy it. And before you reply with "it should have been on the disc"...you're wrong. This is a separate story with a separate character. I don't agree with locking stuff away (e.g. Resident Evil 5), but I have no issue when somebody puts in a bit of effort.

I think you are both missing the point, the bleeding is only going to get worse, much worse, but by the time people like realise what's happened it'll be to late.
Lots of games had these bonus side missions included last generation. Different Characters, Different modes etc.
Thing is I'm not against DLC when it's done right ie Rockstar with GTA & RDD. But this is an example of how companies are pushing boundaries to see if consumers will lap it up. Obviously some will.

Too late for what? We're not talking about people rounding up the jews, we're talking about a buisness model. Buisness models change all the time (Example: DLC)

Yeah and a lot of games didn't. What's you're point?

How they're adding something of substance to the game, that seems like something that's worth putting money towards. You say you're not against DLC and support what Rockstar are doing with RDR? Most of the DLC for that game is shit and probbably should have been in the game. New skins for multiplayer and a couple of new multiplayer missions? They've been milking that game all year with DLC.

God forbid they should want to make money off their multi million dollar investment.

I preferred Expansion Packs personally. Where you got a buttload of extra crap for your 30 dollars. As opposed to the current "DLC" trend where you get sweet FA.

But why do I care, the demo for this game was appalling.
