Red Dead Redemption Hunting and Trading Outfits pack revealed

Rockstar has been very pleased with sales and reception for their Western epic Red Dead Redemption. So pleased that they've picked up a little present for all their loyal cowboy fans. Coming later this month, players will be able to download the Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack, and it's absolutely free.

Included within this appropriately titled pack are two new outfits and their associated challenges.

The Savvy Merchant - Buy guns and ammunition at half price, stranger.
The Expert Hunter - Double the skins and hides from hunts.

But that's not all! Rockstar have also added a new creature to hunt, the Jackalope, as well as a compatibility update that allows players who do not own the Liars and Cheats and Legends & Killers packs to see other players who are using the character models and skins included within. As expected, players will still need to buy these packs for themselves if they wish to use these avatars.

The Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack will be made available October 12 across both Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network, and as stated will be completely free to owners of the game.

I've had this free pack for about a month now.

It was added to a previous PSN update then taken down a few days later.

Great.. finally something I would have actually paid for but I don't have to pay for..

lol

Although I certainly wouldn't be paying $15 for it.. but would have paid $2 or $3.. the hunting is what keeps this game real for me.
