Sneak peek at the Medal of Honor campaign

360 News | Friends From Afar.
A new video detailing a campaign mission from the upcoming Medal of Honor has been posted on Xbox360achievements.org. Previously, the emphasis had been placed firmly on multiplayer, but now we can see if this has the potential to overthrow its arch rival - Modern Warfare 2.

The main location in Medal of Honor is Afghanistan, and here we can see the player sniping enemies from afar. While this is fairly common in most military shooters, it's clear that EA has put a lot of effort into the visuals along with AI animations. The game runs off the hugely popular Unreal Engine 3, although multiplayer shenanigans comes courtesy of the Frostbite engine used in the recent Battlefield Bad Company 2.

This is the first game in the series with a present day setting, and is scheduled to be released on 14 October for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

man i hate sniping with controllers :/ im just not good at console games that require proper accuracy like bfbc2, even mw2 sniping is hard. and forget bolt action.
