THQ announces Saints Row 3 and more

In the same article from Xbox360achievements.org which confirmed the delay of Red Faction: Armageddon, developer THQ has announced a whole lot more.

Saints Row 3 is coming in 2011, and that's the only information available at this point. Scheduled for a release sometime in Spring of next year, Saints Row 3 is presumably being developed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Without any details on locations or characters, it's difficult to comment on anything else, but feel free to play the guessing game in the comments section below.

THQ also announced some dirt racing madness in the form of MX vs. ATV: Alive, which should be available in Autumn of next year. Finally, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine has a release date - Winter 2011.

The next twelve months certainly holds a wide variety of releases from THQ, and hopefully they can deliver. Until then, we still have the Christmas rush to look forward to. Rejoice, the Winter drought is well and truly over!

I had an absolute ball with Saints Row 2 on the 360 - spraying crap over the town cracked me up! But I don't think I could justify the purchase straight off at full price on release (too much on my plate at the moment), but I will definitely have it on my 'to buy' list once the price drops.

I liked SR 1 and 2 so I'm very happy with this although didn't they already say it was a trilogy

Err, didn't they already spill the beans on this when talking about the portable SR in dev and how it'd include connectivity with SR3?

SR2 was great! Now 4 or 8 player CO-OP with SR3 please!!!

If I could also ask that they port from PC rather than to then this would be one of the best games ever...

That reminds me. I got SR2 as a pre-order bonus with Dawn of War 2, but couldn't play it because it ran like a dog on my old computer. I should give it a whirl on my new one
