Left 4 Dead expands in October

360 News | Who will you choose?
The world of Left 4 Dead 2 has been quiet recently, but that's going to change very soon. A recent interview conducted by GameTrailers has revealed some very appetising information about the upcoming DLC, titled 'The Sacrifice'.

As the title suggests, somebody is going to die. More importantly, players will have to choose who meets an untimely death. Chet Faliszek of Valve made the announcement which also confirmed that this new DLC will be compatible with both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2, something that should please the remaining members of a boycott gone horribly wrong. However, Left 4 Dead 2 will be getting a superior package with the inclusion of No Mercy from the original. If that wasn't enough zombie goodness for one day, Faliszek also confirmed that the series will be ported to Mac.

The Sacrifice will be available on 5 October 2010 for Xbox 360 and PC (and possibly Mac). Pricing hasn't been confirmed by Microsoft, but PC owners will be able to play this DLC free of charge. The time has come to start revving that chainsaw again.

Sweet, looking forward to it. I have been playing through the HL2 series and Portal on Mac. Valve have done a brilliant job with the porting and they run very nicely icon_smile.gif
