Metro 2034 announced

360 News | An appropriately named sequel.
A recent post on Destructoid has confirmed that THQ is working on the follow-up to Metro 2033, titled Metro 2034.

The name certainly isn't the most creative, but at least it's staying loyal to the source material. There's little or no information as to how the game will pan out, but we do know that Metro 2034 will be joining the three-dimensional party. After seeing the abundance of Sony related material that's moving towards 3D, it's no real surprise that more developers are embracing the technology.

With a release date yet to be confirmed, we can only sit and wait for THQ to release more details. The sooner the better; but rest assured, PALGN will keep you up to date as this sequel develops.

I thought that about Stalker, but then that went on to have two 'sequels'. I guess people like their European shooters.

I hate this game because I keep seeing "Metroid 2034" and getting excited.
