Dead Rising 2 promotional movie on the way

360 News | Follow the zombie outbreak in Japan.
Primarily used as a promotional tie-in for Dead Rising 2, Capcom has announced that a movie titled Zombrex Dead Rising Sun will see an episodic release in the coming months.

Most interestingly, the eight part episodic movie has been written and directed by Capcom's Global Head of Research and Development, Keiji Inafune - way to keep your promotions in-house!

Zombrex Dead Rising Sun is said to explore the "darker side of human nature" as it plays off the zombie movies of the 60s and 70s, with a good dose of Dead Rising to boot. The film will follow the story of two brothers amongst a zombie outbreak in Japan. The movie is played out entirely in a first-person perspective, and if the trailer is anything to go by it will feature some of the schlockiest acting and dodgy English voice-over work that we've come across in a while - but in a 'so bad that it is good' way.

Zombrex Dead Rising Sun will be released as eight free downloadable episodes in the coming months. You can check out the film's trailer below.

This looks truly awful. I love it!

Each part wouldn't want to be more than a few dollars, though.
