E3 2010: The Sims 3 coming to consoles

360 News | Playing people who are playing people in games.
The endless Sims phenomenon continues to be...err, endless. Today EA Games has revealed by press release that The Sims 3 will be heading to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.

Originally launched on the PC platform around a year ago, The Sims 3 on consoles will retain most of its traditional features on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, undergoing some changes for the Nintendo Wii and DS releases. The former will see a Head-To-Head life challenge mode, letting players bet on life's most important moments to earn points and rewards, and will also feature an exclusive town. The latter features full touch screen controls allowing you to draw your walls and decorate your own textures.

The Sims 3 will be featured at EA's E3 press conference in the coming hours. For the time being, check out the new trailer below.
