Sonic Adventure port confirmed

360 News | A Sonic adventure, minus one werehog.
Earlier in the year a remake for the Dreamcast game Sonic Adventure was leaked by an image on Xbox Live Arcade. Well now it seems the game will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC. Today the remake was rated by the ESRB, all but confirming that the game will be coming to anyone with a PC, Xbox Live or PlayStation Network account.

Widely considered to be the best 3D Sonic game there is no doubt that it will be welcomed after the recent lacklustre 3D Sonic games, and will re-introduce it to gamers who did not own a Dreamcast.

Playing Sonic Adventure made me go out and buy a Dreamcast. I now have three, and have never looked back.

Not sure how well it'll stand up after all these years, but I look forward to finding out.

Interesting how Sega are turning back to their old hits. Maybe we can get another Streets of Rage (2D!), Wonderboy (ala III), Psycho Fox, Cloud Master, Dynamite Dux, Sword of the Beserk Guts Rage, Zombie Revenge, Crazy Taxi, Jet Grind Radio, Powerstone, Shenmue 3 (oh please make this happen), a new Grandia and Skies of Arcardia, the list goes on and on...

Oh Sega, what happened to you? How could the coolest girl on the block pimp herself out to such lows. You were always better than that Italian plumber bloke in my eyes...

I think they've finally realised that people love retro, and Sega's retro titles are some of the best. I'd love to see the return of Crazy Taxi on xbox live arcade and a proper Jet Set Radio sequel. Here's hoping E3 reveals more.
