E3 trailer for Kane & Lynch 2

360 News | The dead men return with even more anger.
The original Kane & Lynch was surrounded by hype for a number of reasons, not all of them positive. Even though the game didn't live up to everyone's expectations, there's no doubt that IO Interactive is trying to make the sequel, Dog Days, a much more impressive outing.

A new video from GameTrailers gives us a hint at the storyline which looks set to involve another woman. Unlike the first game, we're now playing from Lynch's psychotic viewpoint. Both broken men return for this sequel, and they're looking even more ragged than when we last met them in 2007. Take note, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is not for children, there's going to be plenty of swearing and some gruesome interrogations. Hopefully the developers won't go overboard on the dialogue this time, but so far they seem to be learning from their mistakes. Before a wave of new information arrives at E3, take a look at the trailer below.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will be released towards the end of October on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

whilst the original wasn't neccesarily all that well recieved, and for obvious reasons, I still enjoyed it immensely. The story was really good, and the broad variety in levels was something that you don't get to often in games. In particualar the heist and especially the prison breakout.

I have high hopes that IO will fix the issues from the first and expand on all things that were great about the first game.

Also I wonder if the upcoming movie based on the original will have any influence on the sequel.
