Kill Rockstar staff in Red Dead Redemption

360 News | The way I figure, there's really not too much future with a sawed-off developer like you.
What drives a man to kill? Money? Fame? Game developers? Whatever your reasons, Rockstar are presenting a challenge for those who can't silence their inner Clint Eastwood.

Starting from today and continuing until June 1st, Rockstar developers are offering their heads up as targets in some online cowboy action courtesy of Red Dead Redemption. Whether you're playing on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 the game is the same; find a Rockstar, kill a Rockstar, and you net yourself a prize.

The reward? A title achievement or trophy labeled 'Red Dead Rockstar'. For those who have trouble tracking the Rockstar staff you'll also get the reward by taking down any other player who's previously killed a Rockstar.

But the prize doesn't end there. For those who have secured the coveted title, and are members of the Rockstar Social Club, you will automatically go into the draw to have your mug mapped to a unique multiplayer character in upcoming Red Dead Redemption DLC.

Traversing the wild west for these special individuals might be a bit difficult, but Rockstar are making sure you know who to shoot. If you see any of the following gamertags, stick a bullet between their eyes. Remember; they're wanted dead, not alive.

Just like GTA4.

I was playing a game of GTA Race once; shortly before the race started, one dude announced that he was a Rockstar developer. It went kind of mental. For a while he ran off into a little plaza, with a mob of cars outside waiting for him to come out. Fun times.

Happy that the achievement is viral this time.

Lots of games have this achievement.

I picked up this trophy today with my first online kill of a random (ie. non-Rockstar staff), so I guess the "zombie viral" thing of >a friend of a friend< is already well in effect. icon_smile.gif

I got this achievement in 5 mins of playing online.

Netted this trophy on my very first kill. I was surpised to bag it so early given the game has only been released a week. I guess the Red Dead Dev team (try saying that 5 times fast) have been pretty active online.

Just unlocked this for myself, and probably passed it onto another 20 people... I got owned!
