New DLC zooms onto Forza 3

360 News | It's all a little bit exotic.
Those looking for a slick new ride to cruise around in would do well to check out the offerings in the Xbox Live Marketplace, with the arrival of an additional ten cars for the drivers of Turn 10's racing title Forza Motorsport 3.

Clocking in at 400 Microsoft Points (approximately AU $6.60), the Exotic Car Pack will park the SSC Ultimate Aero, JOSS JT1, Weismann GT MF5, Devon GTX, Spada Codatronca TS, Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85, Mosler MT900s, Q1 Rossion, Radical SR8 LM, and Gumpert Apollo in your virtual garage.

As usual with Forza Motorsport 3 DLC, one of the cars will be available for a free test drive with players able to download the Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85 in order to sample just a slice of what the new DLC has to offer.

The complete Exotic Car Pack weighs in at 96 MB and is available for purchase from the Xbox Live Marketplace. You can check out some of the shiny new cars available in the Exotic Car Pack in our media panel below.

Back in the PSX days I used to rent Need for Speed 2 pretty much every week. I was smitten with those cars that were almost baroque in their exoticness. Ford GT90s and Indigos, Isdera Commendatores, things that you could only find in books. I've always wanted Need for Speed to return to those roots, but they're currently smitten with boring old normal cars with stickers all over them.

I guess Top Gear and the Internet have made it so that nothing is really that exotic anymore. These cars here don't really excite me all that much, although the one with one giant fin on the back is getting me a little hot under the collar.

EDIT - Some Googling tells me it's the Spada Codatronca TS. With a name as hard to pronounce as the car is to look at, this might be worth buying the pack for.

Hmm, the Radical would be an absolute blast to drive. Radicals are virtually the fastest thing this side of a Formula racing series... the only thing more absurd than how fast they are is that they're street legal in the UK icon_lol.gif
