Ninety Nine Nights II gameplay trailer

360 News | 99000 more enemies to kill.
Ninety Nine Nights was one of the earliest Xbox 360 titles with the hype backing it up. The technical demo really showed off the processing power of the Xbox 360 by allowing over a thousand characters to be on screen simultaneously. The title actually did reasonably well from both a critical and commercial stand point in Japan and other Asian regions. The sequel, Ninety Nine Nights II, is set for a 2010 release.

In Ninety Nine Nights II, gamers can expect the Dynasty Warriors style army hack-and-slash gameplay that was present in the first game. The sequel will also feature online modes that allow players to team up and take on massive armies.

You can view the trailer below, which shows off some gameplay.

I played the demo of 99 Nights, it kinda bored me. While the fun of killing copious numbers of foes was cool at first it got really old, really fast. I should source a copy of the game though seeing as it can likely be had for about 10 bucks these days and surely it'd be worth it for that kind of money.

Yeah I bought a copy off a friend for $10 just to see if it was anything like Dynasty Warriors, isn't a fantastic game but if you're into the genre it is okay. Unless the sequel really impresses I doubt I will pick it up, would prefer another mech related DW.

Own NNN. Played one of them long ass levels and got killed somewhere.. and it rebooted me back to the start. I was ragin. Never played it again. Very generic + mashy. And uninteresting.

Passing on the sequel.
