Xbox Live Deal of the Week - 09/03/10

This week gamers can pick up the Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack Bundle for 1600 MSP (approx. AUD$26.40) a saving of 20%.

Coming in at 1GB, the Map Pack Bundle consists of nine multiplayer maps and three co-op Zombie maps from Map Packs 1, 2 and 3. Highlights include the “Nightfire” map which takes place in Berlin, the waterfall scenery of “Banzai” and the armoured island of “Battery”. Good luck hunting those Nazi Zombies, folks.

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.

^I'm pretty sure that was for Modern Warfare 1. Unless it was one of those daily Christmas specials over the holidays last year.

So it was 2000 MSP before? That's insane, the actual retail game barely costs as much as the DLC does. But I suppose we are talking about Activision here...

The 3 map packs were 800 each. Worth it if you're into CoD although I'm sure if you were that keen on the zombie maps you'd already own them. DotW always seems to be crappy whenever theres a big name release. BFBC2 last week/FFXIII this week.

Does anyone know what time of the day that Live Marketplace is updated each week? I'm trying to plan work around the release of Perfect Dark next Wedn =P

The marketplace updates on xbox.com around 8pm on wednesdays. It sometimes takes a few extra hours until it appears on the dashboard.
