I think that'll be countered by the jet packs though. It seems much more even to me. Notice the defensive weapon one of the Spartans pulls out against the hog?

I've never been a Halo player at all, but this game is looking like a lot of fun. The graphics are serious step up over the other Halo games as well.

I'm not much of a halo guy, but this is looking f'ing awesome. Can't wait until May, and unfortunately BFBC2 isn't doing it for me.

Probably wasn't a battle rifle. Theres a new weapon that is kinda like a semi auto sniper. Or a single shot battle rifle.

From memory, they've changed some of the original weapons.
Technically they're still the battle and/or assault rifle, but have overhauled the graphics and changed the fire rate (or selectable fire rate maybe??) to even it up or mix it up a bit...
