Second Assassin's Creed II DLC dated

360 News | Closer than you think.
Ubisoft has announced that the second batch of downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed II will be available on 18 February.

Titled ‘The Bonfire of the Vanities’, the second DLC episode may be downloaded from the PlayStation Network or Xbox LIVE. It will set you back 400 Microsoft Points or about AU$7 for anyone with a PlayStation 3. Players will need at least a gig of memory free on their console to download the sequence.

The Bonfire of the Vanities will fill in the final missing sequence from Assassin’s Creed II, containing 10 memories for players to explore. Ezio gains a new move in the expansion, the spring-jump, as he goes about rescuing Florence from the monk Savonarola.

The first add-on for Assassin’s Creed II, ‘The Battle of Forli’, can be found right now on XBL and PSN.

Playing through the campaign now, for those who have the battle of Forli, would you recommend it. I'm not all that far into the game and i can feel there is going to be a sufficient amount to do, a decent 15-20 hour title i am thinking and i'm not sure whether DLC is what i need.

Battle for Forli isn't that great. Get it if you want the complete story of the game, but it dosen't hurt not to have it.

I feel BfF was 'OK' it added a little bit of story; which explained a couple tiny things; but nothing too major. It's cheap as it is; though I really am looking froward to BotV as it will introduce a while new section of one of the cities. Here's hoping there's a few new achievements with it too.

It would have been nice if Battle for Forli gave us a couple trophies/achievements, like how Dragon Age: Origins DLC threw us some bones. icon_smile.gif

It's still the middle of the afternoon in the USA, so it probably won't be up until this evening.
