Xbox Live Deal of the Week - 16/02/10

360 News | This battlefield will be a glorious wasteland.
This week Microsoft has reduced the arcade game Battlefield 1943 to 800 Microsoft Points (approx. AU$13.20), a saving of 33%.

Coming in at 559 MB, Battlefield 1943 is the latest entry in EA’s Battlefield franchise. This time players will be fighting in the Pacific battles of WW2, getting the opportunity to assume the role of a rifleman, a tank commander, and even an ace fighter pilot. The game is strictly a multiplayer experience, so you’ll want to stock up on your Gold membership if it’s due to expire.

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.

Like stayunspoiled, i also purchased the game during the xmas sale promotion. I've barely played it though, i love the Battlefield series on pc...... i havn't liked the console variations of it (Modern Combat, Bad Company etc).

It's more an issue with the graphics - the way you move around (it's hard to explain), while i don't get motion sickness from it... i just find it to be more of a chore, than being fun.
