Halo: Reach Beta gets a confirmed date

360 News | And it's not too far off, either.
Many fans of the popular Halo series are likely looking forward to the highly anticipated Xbox 360 exclusive, Halo Reach. They can now start jumping for joy, as Bungie have announced when they will be opening up the Multiplayer Beta.

Mark your calenders for May 3, as that is the date when the open beta will be unleashed for the world to obsess over like a religion. No other info has been given at this time, but a date is always a nice thing to know.

Halo Reach is said to be the final Halo title Bungie are working on, and is slated for a Q3 release this year.

I should just note that you will need to have the ODST disc in your console for you to be able to access the beta.

So you have to have the disc in when your playing it? Or just the disc in once to download?

I am not sure. I would say to play it as you could just hire the game and download the demo. I am not entirelly sure. I hope not as I traded in the game ages ago but kept the halo Reach beta slip-thing for all the good it will probably do.

The piece of paper will do nothing, it's a piece of paper. You need the game to download, and probably play it.

I really want to see the differences in how these Spartan III's handle compared to master chief, the game sounds like it will be awesome (The book was too), but I'm really tired from Halo at the moment.

And that's disappointing that this is the last Halo title Bungie will develop, no-one comes to mind as to who can continue making the series. Hopefully they don't release a game for a few years though, I really don't want to see this (Or anything) go the same way Guitar Hero did.
